EQUINE MYOFASCIAL PAIN - "The Hidden Reason" By Dr Victoria Hamilton BSc, BVMS (Hons)

Myofascial Disease is a chronic, painful condition affecting the muscles and the fascia that surrounds them. VH SADDLES - Supreme Comfort for Horse and Rider

These beautiful, quality dressage and show saddles are made by a master saddler in England. They maximise horse and rider comfort, enabling feel,  effectiveness of rider aids, incredible freedom of movement and overall performance. Saddles may be bought as standard or Dr Victoria Hamilton will help you customise your dream saddle using her knowledge of equine anatomy and rider biomechanics.  Many features may be altered or added to optimise horse fit such as the width of the channel (useful for horses with spinal lesions or wide thoracic vertebrae), front or back gussets (to allow perfect saddle balance to be achieved), and panel width, length and depth alterations (especially for horses with areas of atrophy from previously ill-fitting saddles, or short backed horses).

So often the most successful trainers are not the best riders but are the best managers of their equestrian partners, primarily because they are skilled in 'listening' to them by watching out for signs that something is amiss. Early detection of problems and being brave enough to do something about issues rather than ignoring them in the hope that they will go away is what managing equine athletes is all about.  more.......
